Joey Conrad (USAF), a PLNU MICS Alumni who graduated in Spring 2016 with a BS in Computer Science, was recently recommended for and awarded the AFCEA Major General Robert Sadler Honor Award. This award is given to the top ROTC commissionee in the nation with a major in anything tech (EE, CE, SC, IS, IT, etc.). He will be going over to Ft. Meade to the 707th Command Squad as part of the 707th Intel, Surveillance, and Recon Group, which works on encryption and other intel activities.
He emailed Dr. Lori Carter to let her know how much the Programming Languages class and Networking class here at PLNU helped him in his work and training he has been doing since graduating. He said he was the "resident expert" in his training due to what he learned in these classes at PLNU.
Congratulations Joey!
